Pick up from Marrakech and Drop of at Fes

Below is a suggested outline route itinerary for a Desert Tour between Marrakech and Fes with the dunes of the Erg Chebbi sand sea. we do our best to break up the days as best we can and still arrive at each destination before sunset.

Cross the highest Atlas road pass of Tizi-n-Tichka, with hair-pin mountain bends and far reaching views, to the traditional Berber village of aitbenhadou and visit World Heritage Site the Kasbah, Continue along the road of thousand Kasbah and Kelaa Mgouna (Rose Valley where, April and May, Berber children line the route selling garlands of fragrant roses) to dadas valley.

Continue to toudgha Gorge passing through the administration town of tinghir.Transfer to the Erg Chebbi dunes. On arrival at the dune line there is the option of camel trekking to a deep desert camp or staying in a luxury tent. Dinner is served under the stars, weather permitting.

Wake early to watch the sunrise across a desert landscape. Transfer across the Middle Atlas to Fes via Ziz valley, cedar forests where Macaque monkeys live, Azrou and Ifrane. It is an interesting route with a stop for lunch around Midelt.
