3 Days Toubkal via Agalzim Pass



An experience for the mountains lover and a glimps of berber village views. the highest peak in north africa Mount Toubkal 4167m. a non technical climb to the sommet guided by local berber lissenced guide and a team of multeers.  from the sommet you will get the best views of all directions around, sahara side on the south, marrakech north and the great mountains rainge coming west to east for more than  2,500 km (1,600 mi) through Algeria.


Day 1
After your transfer from Marrakech to Imlil (1780m), you will set off an a 6 hour trek out of the Imlil Valley and into the Azzadene Valley. Along the way you will pass Tizi N’Mzik at 2480m. Overnight in the Azib n Tamsoult 2250m. ( you can choose eateh sleep in dormitory or a private room.


Day 2
Today involves a fairly stiff climb out of the Azzadene Valley to the Toubkal Refuge over the Aguelzim Mountain pass at 3560m. Lunch will be taken with spectacular views over the Atlas Mountain Range. Overnight in the Toubkal Refuge (Niltner Hut) where you’ll likely be sharing a bunk room with other trekkers tackling Toubkal early the next morning, or for a little extra if you want your own private room.

Day 3
Up early for climbing Toubkal, you’ll have wonderful views over the Atlas Range and the Sahara Desert then a long way back down pass the refuge and the well-worn path back to Imlil. This is a fairly long day with 8-9 hours of trekking, involving 900m up then almost 2500m back down to Imlil. You will normally be dropped off at around 6.00pm in Marrakech.
