8 DAYS SAHARA EXPLORE

Day 2  : Marrakech-Aitbenhadou-Ouarzazat

  Depart from marrakech across te atlas mountains and heading south-west of Morocco to Aitbenhadou village crossign valleys of a breath taking views. a stop for lunch and then a visit of this fortified kasbah wich was a backround of many famous movies and tv shows such as Gladiator, laurence of arabia, prince of persia, game of thrones... the kasbah created back on the 17 century is still standing and representing one of the best architecture buildings in Morocco.
we continue our drive to ouarzazate city known as morrocan Hollyhood because of the atlas studio, bigest cinema studio in morocco. ouarzazate is the play ground of many movies like : babel, cliopatra, kindom of heaven...overnight in ouarzazat

day 3: Ouarzazat-Daraa Valley-Zagora

Following te road of caravans and the magical daraa valley with the longest river in morocco running from the atlas mountains to the sahara and finally in the atlantic ocean. camel ride for 1h and night in the camp. music, dance and dinner on the light of stars and candles

day 4: Zagora-Tazarine-Errissani-Merzouga

 After breakfast we ride the camel back to the road and drive in south side of saghro mountains to cross many smal saharian villages with some local weekly markets. ladscape will be dominated by the famous african tree called acacia number one food for goats and camel in this desertique lands. reaching merzouga and the bigest sand dunes in morocco you will enjoy sweming in the pool in your hotel or going for a quade bike drive over sand dunes. when the sun cools down, another camel ride to a luxyry camp for better amusement and unique experience in merzouga sahara. Music, dinner and overnight in your lux camp.

Day 5: Merzouga-Erfoud-Tinghir-Boumaln Dades
Time to do back to modernity. after breakfast we start exploring other exotic southern parts of morocco, started with erfoud; very famous for the fossils industry and some interesting geologie facts. countinu our way to see todgha gorge, known as morocco rand canion, very famous for rock climbing, carpets and rogues hand made in local wemen copperatives. a drive after lunch will take you trought the anti atlas a flat land tha used to be the transumence way for nomad families to go up in the mountains in summer, and run down to sahara in winter time when the snow cover everything. overnight in boumalen dades.

Day 6: Dades-Rose Valley-Marrakech

Up in the mountains again to reach the small dades gorge crossing the famous rose valley (if you are traveling with us in may this could be a good stop to see the beautiful berber women competing to be the queen of roses) and back to marrakech overnight in hotel or riad

Day 7: Marrakech Tour

Starting a tour around the souks of marrakech and famous monuments with the unisco listed medina and jamaa lefna square. having a look on the tallest building in the city koutoubia mosque and the fabulous bahia palace means "brilliance". As in other buildings of the period in other countries, it was intended to capture the essence of the Islamic and Moroccan style. There is a 2-acre (8,000 m²) garden with rooms opening onto courtyards.

Day 8: Departure Day
according to your flight time you can have some free time to get some souvenir before your transfert to marrakech menara aireport. end of your morocco tour.
